Overview
Operating a forklift truck is a specialised skill, and many accidents are caused by untrained drivers. This course is designed for beginners with little or no experience. Participants who reach the required standard in the theoretical and practical tests receive a certificate of qualification.

Assessment and certification
Participants complete a theoretical and practical exam. On success they are awarded a Forklift Operator’s Beginner Certificate. Certificates are valid for three years and must be refreshed before they expire.
