Course aim
Participants are trained to develop a very high standard of CPR and work through a range of scenarios involving the use of an AED, with particular regard to safety.
Training methods
- Classroom presentation with multimedia and video
- Practical demonstration of techniques
- Course handouts, training records and evaluation forms provided
Assessment and certification
At the end of the course there is a written examination and three practical assessments for each student. Regular revalidation is recommended, and a group of 10 to 12 can be revalidated in one day.
